My bipod broke when I needed it most

I set up for a shot and deployed the bipod then one leg just snapped. I had to improvise with my backpack, has anyone ever had equipment break at the worst time?

One time, my scope base came loose right before a trip...talk about watching your zero disappear when you need it most! I now check screws and torque as part of my routine.
