I’m always debating this..I mean bigger engines haul more gear and tackle rough terrain, but my wallet feels the burn at the pump. Lighter rigs save gas but sometimes struggle with off-road loads, how can I balance fuel economy and capability when choosing your ride?

I used to drive an old straight-six to save on gas. But after struggling up too many hills and constantly downshifting while pulling a trailer. I switched to a V8, and now I just include the extra gas money in the cost of the job

Get yourself a mid-size car, diesel or hybrid! It has better gas mileage than the big guys but still tough enough for off-road and hauling stuff

Having a V8 really drains your wallet but getting up the hill without struggling is worth it. See it as a job expense, my friend

Pick a V6 or turbo engine. They give you enough power but won't kill your gas mileage, as long as you don't load up the car and keep your tires pumped up
