I'm always curious about what loads other reloaders have found accurate and reliable. I just worked up a .308 recipe last month that's shooting consistently under MOA and I'm pretty happy with it, but I figured I'd see what's working well for everyone else in different calibers. What load recipes have been your most successful? I am looking for proven combinations people actually use, not just book data

I once chased the “perfect .308 load” like it owed me money. I ended up with five notebooks, a pile of brass, and one combo so good I almost framed the target instead of the photo!

I’ve been reloading for years and I’ll tell you what worked for me on the range. For my .308 I settled on a 168 grain match projectile with a slow burning rifle powder and a tight neck tension. That combo gave consistent groups and predictable muzzle velocity across lots. For .223 I ran a 77 grain match bullet with a medium burn powder and careful seating depth; it shot best out of a well tuned barrel. My 6.5 Creedmoor loves a high ballistic coefficient 140 or 147 grain projectile with a slightly slower rifle powder and good brass prep..and for handguns I use full metal jacket and plated practice rounds for chronographing, then a reliable hollow point for carry testing, always checking function. I always stick to published reloading manuals for exact charges, chronograph everything, inspect brass, and test groups at distance before trusting any load

You found an accurate load, awesome! I'd recommend you share the components
