What Was Your First Handgun and Do You Still Have It?

I'd love to hear about everyone's first handguns! Do you still own yours, or did it get traded in for something else? I still remember the first time I shot mine—definitely some good memories attached to it. Feel free to share your stories or any photos if you have them!

A piece of junk single action .22 I bought off a classmate on the front lawn of the high school back in the 70s. It shot about 2 feet to the right. Don't remember what I paid maybe $10 and sold it for $15 or so. Back then in our little town you could arm a company of Marines out of the parking lot of the high school. From Sept to about Feb when the rabbit season ended there was always a bunch of guns along with knives, axes etc. in the students vehicles. I don't remember ever locking the doors of my Scout don't think the other kids did either.

My first handgun was a Smith and Wesson Model 64 in .38 Special that I bought after a safety class. I still own it, it reminds me of every step I took into shooting
