Being able to hear range commands and conversations while still protecting your hearing is great and amplification helps at indoor ranges where everything echoes. I used foam plugs for years but switching to electronic muffs was like upgrading from a flip phone to a smartphone.

Quick tip: get a pair that fits great over glasses if you wear them, it makes a big difference at noisy indoor shooting spots.

Hearing protection is not where you want to save money. After I switched to better protection, I never went back and it really cut down on fatigue.
